Immediately after you arrive in the U.S., click on this link to validate your record in SEVIS. This must be completed within 2 days of your arrival to the U.S. Do not validate before you arrive in the U.S.

Step 2: Update your SEVIS record within 20 days of arrival

After you have met your employer, click on this link to update your SEVIS record. This must be completed within 20 days of your arrival to the U.S.
