I am interested in becoming an ERDT Participant

ERDT only works with our partner agencies, not with participants directly.

Why?

• The U.S. government has many requirements that sponsors must fulfill before they can allow you to come to the USA. Sponsors are allowed to assign some of these requirements to our partner agencies overseas.

• Many partner agencies also have experience with the local U.S. embassy and can assist with getting a visa appointment and preparing for the appointment for a better chance of visa approval.

If you or someone you know is interested in coming to the USA on the J1 Work and Travel Program, find an agency in your home country by contacting the U.S. embassy or consulate nearest you.

If there is no agency in your home country, consider applying through an agency in another country. Many agencies can assist you entirely online.
